There are various benefits to your business or group in becoming one of our Community Partners

  • It can help motivate your staff and contribute to team-building.
  • Help you to achieve your social responsibility objectives.
  • Promote your company or group as a responsible organisation.
  • Offer you great PR opportunities, raising your profile, building your brand and attracting new customers or members.
  • Make a tangible difference to people in your area who have the incredibly debilitating condition Multiple Sclerosis.

We will work closely with you to tailor a partnership that will be fun, creative and exciting for your people and other stakeholders. Whether you want to hold a team challenge, like a sponsored event, bring your employees together at a charity quiz night, encourage your employees to take part in one of our events or donate a percentage of your product sales to us, we’ll work closely together to create a bespoke fundraising package which supports your strategic goals.

How to support our Centre

There are many ways your business or group can donate or fundraise to help our Centre raise the £200k we need to provide vital services to people with MS each year.

Make a direct donation

Donations can be made as one off payments by cheque, card or cash or split into monthly payments by standing order. Remember, companies receive tax deductions on charitable donations.

Sponsored Challenges

Individuals or even your whole organisation can get sponsored to take part in a challenge such as a run, cycle or skydive.  Then go to www.goldengiving.com or www.virginmoneygiving.com to set up a web page to make collecting sponsorship money easy.

Hold an Event

Arrange an event or special ‘Charity day’ where a percentage of takings are donated. We will support the event in whatever way we can and will list it on our website.

Prize Draws

Donate one of your company’s products or services to be won in a prize draw. Customers pay a nominated amount to enter their details on a prize draw slip or simply put in their business cards. A winner is then drawn.

Payroll Giving

This allows employees to donate straight from their gross salary to us giving immediate tax relief, making their donations go further. Your employees are given the option to opt in and donate anything from £1 a month – it soon adds up.

Employee Fundraising

Fundraising activities, from a dress down day to Pop Idol night, nurture a team spirit as well as raising much needed funds.

Lottery

Join our ‘200 club‘ from just £2 per month and support us whilst also being in with the chance to win cash prizes.

Share Giving

When donors give shares to a charity, they could receive substantial relief on their income tax bill as well as exemption from Capital Gains Tax (CGT) on any gains they may have made on the shares.

Matched Giving

Pledge to match what customers donate or staff raise as an incentive for them to aim high.

Sponsorship

A sponsorship deal can be used to reflect your company’s corporate and brand values, target new audience groups and promote new products and services.
